Thought i would start the thread, where the very highly rated World Radar hits the track again in race 8.

RACE 1 :

• GAVIN SMITH - Numbers 2 and 5 - CAPTAIN CARLOS & DUET : Both horses have been thereabouts of recent and are in the running with a chance.

• DUNCAN MCKENZIE - Number 4 - KING OF PROMISE : His last run has been one of his better effort, so I am hoping he can repeat it.

ALAN GREEFF - Number 7 - ANDREA : He could perhaps place.

JACQUES STRYDOM - Number 3 - FERRARI’S MOON : He could need this racing off a break.

RACE 2 :

1st four selections

• ALAN GREEFF - Numbers 2 and 6 - GOLDEN MIRAGE & TUYUCA : Golden Mirage tries Poly and can hopefully improve. Tuyuca ran well on local debut last time out and has a winning chance.

• SHARON KOTZEN - Numbers 5 and 7 - JUST AMAZING & OYSTER BAR : Both fillies have a chance to earn in a small field, they both enjoy the Poly.

GAVIN SMITH - Numbers 1 and 4 - HALLO ROSIE & CABALLE : Hallo Rosie has a place chance. Caballe’s one run on Poly so far was a good second, if she repeats that she can feature.

GRANT PADDOCK - Number 3 - ORLANDA : She has her first run back after her vaccinations. The 1200m could be a touch short, she has a place chance.

RACE 3 :

• GRANT PADDOCK - Number 2 - TOM TOM : He is a professional maiden and having his peak run is no good thing, but he does line up with an each way chance.

• JACQUES STRYDOM - Numbers 4 and 5 - CONVENTION & RED FOREST : Convention is working well and can be there. Hoping for improvement from Red Forest.

GAVIN SMITH - Numbers 6 and 7 - FREEDOM TRAIL & FIRST KNIGHT : Hoping for improvement from both.

RACE 4 :

• SHARON KOTZEN - Numbers 3 and 9 - DATA LINK & CRUISE CRUZ : Data Link is up against the boys again, but she can hold her own against them and has a shout. Cruise Cruz has run well of recent and lightly weighted can also feature.

• TARA LAING - Number 5 - PALO ALTO : He has his issues but he is working well. He needed his last and though this is a competitive field he has chance.

GAVIN SMITH - Numbers 6 and 8 - ROSSLYN CHAPEL & WHITELEAF HILLS : Rosslyn Chapel always has a chance at popping up to earn. Whiteleaf Hills must have a chance off a good last win over course and distance.

GRANT PADDOCK - Number 7 - AWAKENING : He will run an improved race from a better drawn.

JACQUES STRYDOM - Number 10 - SETTLEMENT DAY : Hoping for improvement.

RACE 5 :

• TARA LAING - Numbers 2 and 7 - FREE AGENT & ARANJUEZ : Free Agent has been disappointing recently but he is back on Poly which he has been performing better on of late so he must have a chance. Aranjuez runs his best races on the Poly, it is a tough race but he can run into the quartets.

• GAVIN SMITH - Numbers 3 and 4 - EVOLVER & STORY OF MY LIFE : Evolver has his first run back after his trip to KZN, he could place. Story of my Life is always honest and has a chance.

SHARON KOTZEN - Numbers 5 and 6 - MULTI GOLD & DESERT CHIEF : Multi Gold could find this a touch short, but he always tries. Desert Chief needed his last and can improve.

RACE 6 :

1st four selections

• SHARON KOTZEN - Numbers 1 and 12 - SPOILS OF WAR & ELUSIVE GREEN : Spoils of War needed her last , she should improve and can run well. Elusive Green is maiden in handicap company, so she has a tough task, but she is in good form.

• ALAN GREEFF - Numbers 4 and 7 - STREAM OF KINDNESS & BEHOLDEN : Stream of Kindness won well in her last and can follow up. Beholden is well drawn and could place.

JACQUES STRYDOM - Number 9 - MBALI : Hoping for improvement.

DUNCAN MCKENZIE - Number 14 - SALUBRIOUS : Although she is drawn wide, she will run well back on Poly. You can ignore her grass form and she is an inclusion for exotics.

MONTANA TURNER - Numbers 2 and 10 - VANILLA ORCHID & SUZIE MAYWEATHER : Put a line through Vanilla Orchid’s last, she really hit her head badly in the gates. Her previous form proves she can do much better and she does enjoy the mile. Suzie Mayweather is up in class having her first run out the maidens, but she is working well and we are hopeful of a good run.

GAVIN SMITH - Numbers 3, 5, 6 and 11 - FRENCH NOBILITY, CLOSE TO MY HEART, ANGIOLETTA & COWGIRLINTHESAND : Hoping for improvement from French Nobility and Cowgirlinthesand. Close to my Heart is expected to enjoy stepping back to the mile. Angioletta ran a fair last, she is well drawn.

RACE 7 :

1st four selections

• ALAN GREEFF - Numbers 2, 3 and 10 - WHEEL OF TIME, ELUSIVE DIVA & SKYDANCER : Wheel of Time could find this short, but he can run well. Elusive Diva won her last well and has a chance again. Skydancer is up in class having his post maiden run, but in an open field could find the frame.

•JACQUES STRYDOM - Number 12 - RIBOVAR : He is in good form, is working well and does have a chance here.

GRANT PADDOCK - Number 13 - BURNT ROCK : He has his first run back after his vaccinations. His work is good but the draw is a concern - quartet chance.

GAVIN SMITH - Numbers 1, 5, 7, 8 and 11 - SPIRIT OF SONG, EMERITO, DUKE OF HAZARD, MASTER NEWTON & EXALTATION : Hoping for improvement Spirit of Song trying a new surface. Emerito can run well, but does need things to go his way. Duke of Hazard is in good form and has a chance. Master Newton ran a decent last and can be there again.

RACE 8 :

1st four selections

• ALAN GREEFF - Number 8 - WORLD RADAR : She is expected to enjoy the Poly and has a winning chance.

• GAVIN SMITH - Numbers 9 and 11 - YODALICIOUS & KEEP IT GREEN : Yodalicious ran a good last and can run into quartets. Keep it Green is drawn much better, she is always finishing well.

JACQUES STRYDOM - Numbers 2, 3, 4 and 10 - STAR OF FAIRVIEW, HONEY SUITE, HOPEFUL & FLAME OF FIRE : Star of Fairview can improve, she is capable of more than what she produced in her last - she is also drawn a lot better. Honey Suite can pop up to place. Hopeful should find this too short and we are hoping to see her finish well. Flame of Fire has improved at work and can do better, she could place.

TARA LAING - Number 6 - TRAVEL GUIDE : She has shown to be better on Poly, her draw is a concern but she could place.

race 1 We have sent Gold Pact to PE- he has traveled fine yesterday but is untried on the poly. He has run against stronger in CT but may be a bit outpaced early this course and distance. Hope to see him run on strongly and earn a cheque.
Race 8 Twin Falls also first run in PE. Traveled well and she is much better than her last two poor runs in CT. World Radar looks a smart sort but on best form we are next best.

Race 6 Note that Elusive Green hurt herself this morning so will have to scratch.

i think CAPTAIN CARLOS leads and i am hoping DUET will be running on and snatch it late on with ANDREA getting up for 3rd
