Nothing confidential
I started a thread "what can we do for racing" and Rob invited me to TT to talk about various options and my input was transparency and feedback to punters especially on tote anomalies.
He gave inputs on new options for TT and a questionnaire has been proposed for punters that we could put on ABC
More to follow ........

Those skeletons must be starting to rattle in that Wainstein/Phumelela cupboard.

All we can hope for is that all new placements are able to look after the owners/trainers who they represent.

Oscar nothing is going to change until the management changes at the RA
I am not an RA member however, why or how, Weinstein has remained for so long is a mystery and nothing will change until he moves on, good luck.

Muhti on the strength of that debacle alone there should have been change but it amazes me that leaders in the racing industry survive after so many failures and incidents;
Recommending members to invest in a share price and lose huge value in the following months?
Physically assaulting members of the public?
Being part and parcel of the Jooste cabal and believing that none of your decisions were untainted
Allowing Teletrack to make decisions that negatively impact your owners, i.e. limiting supply to betting outlets of Race books from certain suppliers when the official race card ComputaForm is actually incorrect in terms of 400m to finish times
Failure to assist or help Form Grids which is used by large percentage of RA members
Allowing the WC such a high amount of stakes money when they cannot fill their fields the rest of the year. Gauteng owners should be up in arms as they subsidise WC racing the rest of the year for WC to cash in on huge prize money for 4 months

All the best to the new directors

Tiger with regard to WC racing you are correct that they are not able to fill their fields
Why
They only catered for the good horses and in the process killed of the small owner and trainer
There was also a problem with the allocation of the telephone betting when Gold Circle were running
WC racing and I believe still continues today and betting figures are skewed in favour of Phum
There has been no effective management in CT for years
Will that change?
I doubt it will

If that is the case then WC racing has to downsize surely.

Message from a voyeur

Mr Weinstein cannot make a decision by himself. The board discusses , takes advice then acts on that.
Do you think guys like late Chris Gerber, Lawrence Wernars, Michael Leaf, Mark Currie would allow anything other than the right way
