Wrong horse allowed to run race 3 at the Vaal Tues

Was this announced ?

Binda horse from race 5 (check scratchings)ran in the 3rd as Trouble Maker

Not sure how possible with the ID tests!!!

Trouble Maker ran last in the 3rd at 66/1 and Night Shadow was scratched in the 5th

Are u suggesting that night shadow ran in place of Trouble Maker in the 3rd and when it was discovered they scratched night shadow as it would have been tired .

Imagine the kak that is happening at lesser centres if it can happen at the vaal. Could this explain some of the form reversals

The system is that the horses are scanned prior to race just before they go into
the saddling box
Obviously this was not done but my question is ,was the trainer on course?
If he was how could he mix them up?

The stipes report for the meeting has still not been posted on the nhra website ..its always up by 8.30am the very next day bar weekends

.....surprised that more are not going ballistic on this matter......are we all now numb on the way racing is being run.....we threw our toys when a mix up in Cape Town started out at transport from a farm....a horse identifier was ultimately responsible for not catching the SNAFU....but FFS the Clinton Binda set up is not that big....and I as a green 21 yr old would sometimes battle to tell the bays apart.....that assistant seems on top of his game....must have had a momentously loss of judgement and eye not on the ball.....but ultimately it is the NHRA that must take the fall..... :S
