Apparently an enquiry was held and Clinton Binda was found guilty, fined 20k with half of it suspended for a year. Horse identifier on the day has also been suspended pending a disciplinary hearing tomorrow the 16th. That's that on that.

In mitigation, both horses just moved to Binda's yard.

.....seems like a repeat of the Cape Town debacle.....horses were sent and transported together from one racing jurisdiction directly to Binda....switched or confused before they arrived.... identifying by passport not that easy.....but ultimately should have been picked up at the race course before the one actually ran..... :oops:
