.....have not read the book.....and by the looks of it nor have many others....maybe one should not use the word Vendetta in the title unless in a movie script.....The Georgia Herald covered the trial extensively and by the reports it was a slam dunk for the US Federal Government because the principal defendant eventually pleaded guilty.....Botes defense was that employee's beneath him in his own company were responsible for what he was charged with and then found guilty of....2 sides to the story as they say in the classics..... :huh:

I never intended retiring is the USA and bought an estate in SA in 1999 for that purpose. I never became nor ever wanted to become a United States citizen. My lineage - Pres. Paul Kruger's - go back to 1693. Except for high crime and hooligans (hint) and corrupt politicians, South Africa offers a champagne lifestyle on a beer budget and a great quality of life!

To the contrary - it was no "slam dunk for the US Federal Government". The prosecution had to commit 11 crimes to engineer a false conviction in a trial that lasted a month. When the jury when questioned by Channel 11 about why they had convicted BOTES they explained that there was not enough evidence so they prayed - yes, they prayed. The evidence there was was fabricated and altered, witnesses were bribed and threatened and prosecutors suborned purjury. The book could be seen as libel, slander and defaming the judge/s, prosecutors and "defense" counsel who could sue, except under common law to such a claim, truth is the ultimate defense and none of them want the evidence presented in the lawsuits BOTES had filed against them proven true in the court of law, so they just have to take it on the chin.

Linda Schrenko pleaded guilty for her own action, not BOTES's. Read Chapter 24 - Chapter 24 - Schrenko Exculpates Stephan.

To 14 question like the ones to follow she exculpated BOTES in her testimony.

He could have simply asked, "Did you ever in any conversation with Stephan Botes conspire with him to award his companies contracts so he would kick back money to your campaign?" Steel's question allowed Linda to answer, "I had no direct agreement with Mr. Botes," implying that she may have had an indirect one, which she did not have.

"Did you ever have any agreement or conversation with Mr. Botes concerning what the jurors know about, the $590 focus group checks?" he posed the third such question ineptly. Perhaps he meant, "Did you ever conspire with Mr. Botes to funnel funds to your campaign through the use of $590 focus group checks?"
"No."

You need to learn exactly what the cause for the vendetta was, who orchestrated it and why. Unfortunately the powers who had the power to erase court records have wiped all traces of BOTES's lawsuit against Bill Clinton's Whitehouse Chief of Staff and Clinton's cronies in the United States District Court for the Second Circuit for Theft, Racketeering, Conversion, Conspiracy and Extortion from the court records, so you will have to read the book for details and evidence.

....did you lay charges against your own attorney ......for this so called US Federal conspiracy against you...... :huh:

......I get the picture ......wrong place at the wrong time....with the wrong judge wrong jury and worst of all the wrong lawyers in the wrong district and wrong courts
