With Abashiri being 13 points out with some of the fillies if he ran in the first half of the field he would do his chances for the Summer Cup no harm. I believe after his 2nd in the Pinnacle Plate last time out he proved his form is returning. It is looking like a very weak Summer Cup with very few draw cards, the organizers IMO would be very disappointed if a triple crown winner didn't make the line up.

Always tough to know how fit some of the top sorts are returning after a break. I would suggest staying out in these races. Should be some interesting races to watch though.

Only one bet on the night for me and that is in Race 4. Exquisite Touch impressed me in her comeback run when clearly not ready showed plenty of heart to fight down to the line. She loves the course and weighted to win. The 2/1 looks really good IMO and just needs to keep Wrecking Ball in her sights.

C, on MR's, Wrecking Ball is out at the weights and on their comparative runs to The Thinker, Wrecking Ball has more than a bit to find on Exquisite Touch. The 2/1 cannot last too long.

Kissable could be the joker in Race 4.

If she comes back to her best she will blow this field away.

Being a 3 year old, do you not think she is badly weighted in terms of the race conditions?

I agree R, when I priced up this race I priced Exquisite Touch at 12/10, Wrecking Ball at 5/1 and 10/1 bar these 2.

Such a pity -- really eager to get into this and the kenilwoorth card, but am so tired -- I just need to go to bed.


I really hope i can get home on time tomorrow to get into the first race form before the race, and then on the back-foot studying the form as the races unfold, and I was so looking forward to the Thursday night meeting...
