Over the Air you keep having a go at my family for whatever personal reason you may have. And hiding behind your false name. Are you too scared to let us know who you are...
I don't have anything to do with New Turf and the contract but I do know that they saved Cape racing a lot of money by being a lot cheaper than the previous contract. In fact much more than what the race sponsorship was. The terms and conditions of the contract are being adhered to exactly the same way as how New Turf has been run over the last 23 years.Ask the Rogue that is feeding you this Shit for Proof before Posting Nonsense .
I'd like to know which other service provider in this industry has given back as much as we have as a family through various fund raising, free transport of goods to George when the fires hit, free transport of water and goods to CT during the drought, feed to Free State, free transport of abused horses and donkeys which we don't have to brag about we just do.
I don't need to hide behind anyone if I want to post on ABC .
My number is
0824439467 if you really want to call and hear a few truths and Speak to Owners of New Turf .I'm sure they will tell you .

Mark

Ps....I'm sure you have contributed a lot to the ECHU and Charity Too

Over The Air, any of the New Turf partners will be happy to meet you at a venue of your choosing and will show you the terms of our CT sponsorship agreement.

Mr Kantor does travel a lot but Mr Nestadt will join the meeting if he can.
We have always dealt in a transparent way

Mark thank you for taking the time to respond in a civil manner. It makes a change from some of the abuse that has been dished out by your family members previously. It is appreciated, the pen is far mightier than the sword and this is the way to achieve transparency, not threaten those that are asking questions. In that spirit let's debate what has clearly touched a nerve.

You feel that I'm having a go at your family. Please reread what I posted, i state that the time period between the original posting and my latest posting has shown the rumour to be accurate with regards to the awarding of the transport contract. I don't know your family. To me they are irrelevant ( said with the greatest of respect ) in what transpired. Now peruse the involvement of many family members of "leaders" in the racing industry, here I particularly point out Larry Wainstein, that provide services to the industry, and you will understand my angle.

This portion had little to do with the reason for my post and was used as an intro to what my message really was - the lack of sponsorships for many of the Cape's major races in the season. You refer to a "rogue" who is supplying me information. That "rogue" as you put it is employed by Phumelela. The individual that loads the Cape's racing programme is my source. The details of sponsorships, or the lack of them, are there for all to see.

In closing, this industry has many secrets that should not be secret. I find an amazing parallel to what is happening at national level. State capture and racing capture have many similarities. Wouldn't it be a good thing if there were no need to have the cloak and daggers that we see on a daily basis?

Well....your posts particularly single out the Sham family as getting the contract in an illegal way. It was tendered for and given to the company that made the best offer via service and price I presume. Nothing underhanded about it.
I do know from previous experience in PE when New Turf held the race day contract that we were expected to "sponsor" The Derby however the amount from us was no where near the advertised stake of the race but rather an amount equivalent to a portion of the contract. It was from then that we chose to make it into a charity day supporting ECHCU and Nazareth House.
If as you say , you don't know my family why are you openly accusing us of dealing illegally ?
There are no secrets regarding this transport contract and we have openly and transparently
made you 2 offers to discuss it.
Hereafter I don't expect to see my family slandered by you again.
