Working again today - but Gun's and Roses looks nicely placed in her race to follow up with Runalong looking the best challenger.

there is one race on the card that keeps pointing me back to 30/1 Man's Inn --- last five or six runs have been awful, but the stable keeps running him - must be waiting for him to fire somewhere, looks unlikely of last races but will need further investigation.

Others that might be worth a poke

Race 3 - Guns and Roses 18/10 - see Tim said she hasn't done much work after her vaccines so can't have too much faith in her today but on her form shown thus far, she's one of those types that wants to win and its a very underrated trait in horses. Keeps on improving and a mark of 83 is workable. Nice sort who seems to be better on the inside course, which always suits horses with a swift turn of foot.

Race 5 - Tendre - Out at the weights but as he's only now starting to show off his best, might be better than his current mark. I liked his win LTO and seems to be on the up. Big concern inside course though and I guess that's why he's drifting. Would be much more confident on the standside.

Race 6 - Liked Secret Star initially and I still do but just watched Alileo's two wins as I haven't seen her run before and she's definitely a smart sort. She could have only improved during the break and looks still well treated off her 81 rating. 2 from 2 on the inside course makes her the worthwhile fav here. Should go close.

Race 8 - Well Connected was running on smartly in the Sales race on July day where he had a hopeless draw. Should love the step up in trip and if he's fit and well, should run a cracker. Ideal Secret also won his maiden well and having track form, should be the danger.

Race 1 - Rendezvous, Money horse by far - 3/10 odds - only negative is the hard fight last out - but should be too good - cannot select anything to challenge.

R1 Rendezvous looks the right one, no value at the price though. One that interests me for a lunatic e/w is gold medal girl, being by golden sword should love the extra, even though the form doesn't suggest so.

R2 No bet, if pressed between top shot and silver scooter.

R3 I for some reason can't have Guns and roses, don't know why really as the form speaks for itself. I think although having won over the trip she may be better over shorter and may be found wanting after her vaccines so I'm prepared for the egg but for me I'd much rather be with a Cold cash (the value) run along and she's a dragon.

R4 Also can't have another hottie in the form of all eyes on you. Being by Judpot she should definitely be better over further, not saying she can't win as I think the bend will be more to her liking but I'd much rather be with Aerobatic and the first timer Ensemble.

R5 One hottie I do like is Tendre. Seems to definitely have the most scope for improvement and I agree may be under rated. I will however look at how Silver scooter runs in race two and if producing a decent run may include save the rhino. Cool Chardonnay the class and can be thereabouts.

R6 In agreement with Bayern re Spring wonder, since joining Paul Peter she seems to have found a second wind and the 1200 will suit her down to the ground. Shivering sea also warrants inclusion despite Zackey being 1kg over. Gotta have respect for alileo though as if she's improved as expected could justify the turn in the weights.

R7 I was with Angels power last time out and agree that he was the most unlucky horse in the race and hoping to recoup some of the losses from then. Likely blistering pace will suit him down to the ground and with luck in running I'm hoping Pierre can make amends today. Will pays to back him up and Romi's boy should be in the vicinity.

R8 My banker for the day comes in the form of well connected. De Kock spoke highly of him when running on July day and but for the draw made him a big runner, step up in trip and being by silvano im sure has improved since that run and the 5/2 on offer I thought was a bit of value.

R9 De Kock very hard to beat but the talk is for Candice Dawson's runner, so maybe a little double from the third race for her? Evangeline and Tiger lace for back end of Quartet.
