Clairwood 20080614 selections

Hi Guys

Off to Margate for the long weekend,just wanted to post my early selections for the big day.

Race1 : Too many first timers,of the horses that have run prefer Woodi Alain.

Race2 : Captivating party entering the big league,should be up to it and gets my vote here,especially with striker up.

Race3 : Best bet on the card Personal Fantacy,coming off a 147 day rest,but will win for new stable.

Race4 : Open race between Lord of the sea,extinct,island groove and notforpublication in that order.

Race5 : Meet my master and wood be magic to fight it out,siding with wood be magic with marwing up.

Race6 :Bold Elinore to score if she can overcome that 11 draw.

Race7 :Next best on the day Like it hot to be duly rewarded for some decent efforts.

Race8 : Think Pocket power could get beaten,quite a few with chances,going with a real ruffie in st raphael who enjoys clairwood.could be totally wrong and pocket power could win.At 7/10 not for me.

Race9 : An open race with Keen warrior to get a narrow vote with marcus up.

All in all not the easiest card with 5 handicap races,so will just be taking doubles with Personal Fantacy and like it hot on friday and enjoying the rest of the long weekend fishing down south coast.

Watch where the better going is before placing your bets.In my opinion , the middle to outside down the straight will be best.However , from what i see , horses coming from off the pace could struggle slightly.Go with horses that can race handy and then kick.

Thoughts and personal fancies :

Race 1, Winterwonderland was backed down to 4/10 on debut and was s/h 2nd. Should atone with Mawing aboard but short price again.
Race 2, Joshua's Mistress.
Race 3, Atlantic Inn from Flight Alert's Personal Fantasy
Race 4, Roy Ahoy should be back to give Extinct a go.
Race 5, Meet my Master tries trip for the 1st time and will give Royal Day a run for the money.
Race 6, Bold Ellinore, my best bet of the day with PP
Race 7, Tropical Empire.
Race 8, Pocket Power.
Race 9, Keen Warrior. Roughie, Bonito.
