Looks like all the horses at the top of the board drew well

Pace may be a factor - many different owners - and I doubt the Mayfair guys would ask Dettori to set the pace after making the effort to get him a ride

I wont be surprised if Legal Eagle goes to the front and tries to dictate. Marcus beter be spot on with judging the pace if he does, cos if he gets it wrong, all of Marinaresco, Whiskey Baron and Gold Standard will be coming fast.

Watching the racing yesterday, every race around the turn was won by the horse leading after 200 meters, if I am not mistaken. Will be interesting to see where they come from on Met day.

The Ramsden stable seems to be the only ones who may have put a pacemaker in the race (Macduff ?) - would have thought that after the success in the QP, where Midnite Zone ensured a good pace, either Tarry, or the Joostes or the Marinaresco connections would have made a similar plan for the Met - or do they all believe their runners good enough to win off any pace ?

Its Your Turn style would not suit Greyville and comparing their form and more especially their paths here you would have to have other reasons to fancy Marinaresco over the Snaith runner who gets a perfect draw and a class act on top
