If Judicial and Diesel Jet ran to their ratings, then Trading Profit showed huge improvement and ran close to a 105 today. In any event, he will be a serious runner in the Classic.

Done a double with Chepardo
If this double didn't click, I would have been in big trouble

Interesting day's racing .........not my greatest day....Judicial 2nd, Lazer Star 2nd, Negroamara 2nd, Champagne Haze 2nd
....but was saved by managing a piece of the BP
Well done to Mr H who called both Guineas's winners - and both I think were deserving winners.....however I think any talk of the Triple Crown / Triple Tiara is premature.....the Janse v Vuuren yard seems to have some problem as most of their runners ran below par ....Negroamara did finish more than 4 lengths ahead of Heaps of Fun over the trip in November, so either HoF improved big time, or N ran below par ....could be a little bit of both....any way I am not convinced HoF will beat N again.
As for the colts, I think Zechner rode a great race on the winner, while Fortune definitely did not shine on Champagne Haze .... bustled at the start I thought and ended up too far back .. ran on nicely and although the extra will definitely suit Abashiri, Champagne Haze imo will not have a problem with the 1800 either....then Brazuca surely better than today's effort and then there is still New Approach....the run today surely too bad to be true and as PeterD mentions, even Trading Profit may be improving enough to challenge....I think the Classic is going to be a great race.
