The only way to get 13/10 Negro will be to take it with French Navy and on the subject of Navy I was on a boat yesterday to swim with sharks a bit scary but the boat trip was worse every bone in the body aching this morning

With the overnight rain the track conditions will be soft to heavy. Play with caution.

Of the Aleander runners. best e/w will be R3 BajanF, R6 ShepardO, R8 ChampagneH,
R10 MrMulliner.
Include the other runners in the exotics

I like to go back to Champagne Haze's ready to run cup win. In a matter of strides, he put the race to bed. True, the field was not a strong one but the horse that interests me there is Rabada. The disdain with which CH put Rabada away was there to see, this is the same Grade 1 winning Rabada who beat his stable companion, Abashiri.

One can argue that Rabada is not the same, he ran 6th in the Cape. There were rumours going around that he was not well, he carried 62kg in that race! I want to take Marinaresco as a line horse - he carried 6.5 kg less than Rabada who he beat by 1.5ish lengths. Guys, this is the same Marinaresco who came from a terrible draw in the Derby to finish 0.4 lengths off none other than Brazuca off level weights. We know how good Brazuca is - now how can one say Rabada's not the same is beyond me. For me, can Abashiri thrash his stable companion the way CH did? I doubt it - I do agree that Abashiri has probably surpassed Rabada as a 3yo though.

That RTR win was peak CH, we all know he wasn't right in his penultimate start and last time we saw the real CH again. He carried 2kg more than Suyoof and ran a cracker from draw 9/13. Now this is his 3rd run after rest, loves the standside, Fortune knows him well - if peak CH shows up today, then I do think he'll go very close indeed.Don't think the mile is too much of an issue, he wasn't stopping last time - Suyoof was just getting away again :P

Suyoof - a brilliant little horse he is. Won for me at prices of 33/10 and 6/1 in his last two starts. A cracker of a debut against Brazuca and they renew their rivalry here. His win last time was full of merit, drawn 10 and powered through to win. One may say CH has him beat however it was Suyoof's first run after a rest. No doubt, he'll be fitter today and Delpech staying aboard says a lot. The draw is not enough to put me off, it can be done on the Standside track and we still don't know how good Suyoof is. It's only his 5th run, bags of improvement to come and I'm sure he'll be right there in the finish if things go his way.

7/1 for CH antepost and 8/1-ish is available for Suyoof currently. Split stakes will do just fine :)

Champagne Haze/Suyoof x Brazuca

Negroamaro - Keeping this short - she's 7/10 after all. This is a good filly, terrible draw last time, caught wide and flew through. She'll love the standside too, we all saw what she did in the Fillies mile. I, like others, got on the early 22/10 which looks a bargain at the moment. Of the balance, there's some good value among them. I like Polyphonic - she beat Sharp Princess on just her 2nd start who ran 4th behind Abashiri in the Sea Cottage if I'm not mistaken. Lots of improvement to come and I think she's value. I like a little of Christmas Carol too, on the upgrade and Woodruff rates her. And maybe Bella Sonata is worth another chance after the ton of money on her last time.

Negroamaro x Polyphonic x Christmas Carol
