@ Frodo

R4: Lowly fillies and mares; Lizzie's Legs fair comeback run after a rest, but no star, should find a place at least; not a lot between stable companions Danielle and Ice Goddess, but IG has the plum draw and looks good value imo at 40's; AP's Lily has a very wide draw as does the other sand debutante Wensleydale - so not for me; Seven Kingdoms I think has a place chance; Slick Deputy imo better over 1000, but is not badly handicapped her and another who is looking for place money

Thank you you saved me in the PA

I think it is an absolute disgrace that this sand course will close (for whatever reason).
There are many horses who only act on the sand and they can make a living. Owners who live in Jozi/PTA or surrounds don't want to travel to Kimberley to have a runner......

Seems like the easy way out to close and not to rectify the problem......

Oh well, just another blunder!

Ja Chris much prefer the vaal sand racing to their shite turf racing.
But now imo trainers are just using the surface to keep some horses in the yard ( sand surface horse as an excuse ) because some of these horses are never competitive

I totally agree - and I still can't figure out why the Flamingo Park sand is relatively 'problem free' but the Vaal sand can not be fixed

look at the winner of the third - three foals and all only perform on sand so one whole family will be gone now- Kimberley is not the Vaal sand and I doubt very much if many of our sand runners will go on that surface - sad to see it close as I've had many a fine punt on this track . If you find a form horse drawn in the first 5 from 1200-1450m you can banker in the pa normally.

Just Africa and Wild One. Covering all angles except them not running in the top 4.

Just Africa carried three kg's more than an 89 rated horse for one length on the sand lto.

When you say "lay" you meant lay his winning sash on the mantle piece? :D
