The horse that you are referring to , Oriental Tiger was earmarked for a Grade 2 @ Greyville in July long before he made his debut so the stable was clearly aware of his ability to win a maiden in PE and he would have won with or without Gavin in the saddle, the jockey change was made purely to assist Gav in the title chase after the horse we were meant to ride in that race was withdrawn at the acceptance stage,Yvette was in Jhb with Copper Parade who ran at Turffontein the day after Oriental Tiger won in PE so was unaware of the fact that Gav was available, after conferring with Gav I called Yvette and asked if he could ride OT, Yvette in turn discussed this with the owners who agreed to the Jockey change and this was done on the morning of the race meeting at 8am, worth noting that not a word was said about the change until the horse won and only then did all hell broke loose..the fact that the horse then went on to run 2nd in the Umkhomazi Stakes in his next start is proof enough that he would have won the maiden with or without Gav,I apologize if the truth does not fit in with your conspiracy theory train of thought but it is what it is,however seeing as this incident took place in April and 5 months on you remain an active player it would appear that the multitude of rotten and crooked goings on within the industry have not deterred you...

I re watched the race and didnt hear the comentator calling it race over.I remember the case with marcus and the used that tactic as the the commentator was calling that race over a long time before the line.In anycase no matter what the commentator says during the race it should never be used to pass blame.

Perhaps you might have heard(very late in the race) : .."but it's all Dublin Rebel..........." that could be interpretated as similar :woohoo:

The problem was that it wasn't "all Dublin Rebel " ....the winner was challenging!
