July Gallops 2015

For me Wylie Hall looked superb..... Isobar a monster....

MAJMU 400m to Fin 22sec flat......the best is still to come :evil:

The big thing for me is the state of the track - the grass track certainly looks quite hard for Durban - let's hope they get some rain towards the weekend - otherwise the going might be huge factor come July day :ohmy:

If they get any rain they in trouble

Don't believe some should be allowed to gallop on the poly, after all, the race is being run on the turf. Having said that, there is quite a bit of kick back on the turf, which is odd considering Durban has not had rain for quite some time - irrigation maybe?

Im in legal eagle camp but on what i seen today live at greyville this is order of merit judging just the gallop:

Why does he change to a "sing song" when talking about horse? Surely this is not the way he has an ordinary conversation.

Hard to read too much into the gallops because some ran on the turf and others on the poly. For me, the poly will offer less resistance, therefore should throw up better times, which it did.

Whilst not the fastest times, Majmu, for me, put up the best gallop, reason being, Delpech was a lot less animated than Marcus on the Conglomarate, who put up a faster time.

On the turf, thought Wylie Hall looked really smart.

Having said that, still hoping Futura will pull it off.
