I think DOVER BEACH has a big chance, 1400m might be the hurdle, she's drawn well though and could go the clappers up front, tough race but I'm firmly in DOVER BEACH'S camp.

Plenty dosh for the GREEF R200k 1st timer KANARA, Interestingly LUCKY LEAR was backed from 20/1 to 7/1 not too long ago with NDLOVU aboard that day too... and she won like a good thing. I'm not a fan of early money but 16/1 to 22/10 is a major amount of money. The favorite looks hard to beat though but this 1st timer could really be anything.

Another runner backed at big odds is AL DON CUMARCO for the inform YVETTE/FUNEKA combo, despite the generous nibbles I think this runner has much more to do here, I thought 7/1 on YOSHIE was decent eachway value.

ASTRO NEWS surely a PA banker, actually my banker in everything

I play about 5% of Fairview meetings, not a big fan at all... race commentary is too much for me, the panel selections blabber session is like a cement truck churning dry cement, weight this and weight that versus this trainer said this and that and woddle, doddle kung-fu chicken!!! LOL. It's just me though fellas, it seriously drives me up the tree so I chose to view results after the race has run and that way I don't have to listen to the panel.

Nevertheless, the team down there does a great job, I for one couldn't do Mr. Schoeman's job any better, he gets very excited and seems super passionate about each and every race, cannot be easy with so many runners finishing on top of each other. Nadine studies for hours on end and with all runners weighted to finish on top of one another it's a tough task trying to give the public winning selections.

Probably won't form part of the panel selections but for me ASTRO NEWS x DOVER BEACH looks the play without getting too involved with weight turn-arounds and form lines.

Wish you all the best of luck!

WP, its usually the button with "mute" on it ;)

Dover Beach, blardy difficult race to have a "strong" fancy imo. But, I trust you :) will play an e/w double with Rebel House in the last.

Lol, thanks Englander! Will give the mute button a try... I might need one of those for my selections lately too

DB no good thing, that's for sure! If it was a mile I'd be more confident, I'm taking a fat chance, my banker for the 1st leg of pick 6, decided to go 1,2,3 for the 2nd leg. Going with my instinct and I hope it's right! Need to take a chance somewhere and the way she finished last time out after having shifted was impressive, I like her draw and Kathi up again ticks my boxes.

RH now forms part of my pick 6 too ;)

Copper Parade has the field cold at the weights (between 4 KG's to 9Kg's)and in his last 6 runs has bumped and beaten the likes of Via Africa, Tevez and Fly By Night whilst the 2nd fav Unannounced has beaten Clifton Surf,Money For Love, Covariance and London Perfect and receives just 4KG's from CP, Team Tara have undeniably worked wonders with Unannounced (MR76 to 99 since his arrival in PE) but surely this race is a bridge too far??
