I may just be talking...but I think that there is a lot of retention of has-beens and didn't make its because of the contacts and packages...prevents the new blood coming through...

if we continue to choose teams from every level based on colour and not on merit our sport at national level will continue to decline ...the rest of the world choose their best team so why cant we ..in fact its an insult to the teams we play against by not choosing a team solely based on merit as sport is about the best playing the best....we should be isolated from world sport again until we choose our best teams whoever it might be

Come on Craig brothers I thought that you guys don't make excuses and as for hoping that the Pumas thrash Province that's just a low blow Craig P  Whats Craig E going say when Lambie ups sticks and joins the Stormers next season? You best move your entire stable down to the Cape Craig ;)

How's that going to help WC racing, Chicken? According to the NHA statistics our KZN friend has a win ratio of 5%(2012/13), 4% (2013/14) & 7% (2014/15) whilst competing against trainers who can barely raise 1x July Handicap entry amongst all of them. Statistically his operation is more akin to a horse boarding establishment than a racing stable.

Don't know if anybody smokes but I thought that this would make you chuckle or screetch with horror. I was asked by a friend to buy a packet of 20 Malboro lights for him when I went to the shop this morning. £9.39. I could not believe it all that money for a packet of cigs. That's around R190.00. for a single pack of 20,s

wow that's a bit harsh Garrick, although facts are facts people like Craig are good for the game as a trier in my book always has and always will have my utmost respect and admiration. Maybe a change of scenery will do the trick (my post was just a wind up as he would never leave his beloved Durban)

CnC, Why would Lambie move there? :P Natal boy born and bred and wants to stay in the best province. :P As for Garrick, I wont even bother to reply as he has obviously trained so many winners (that I know of) and does not like Kzn so why should I even worry about what he says. He cannot see that CnC is just pulling the piss but he wants to be a hero and run people down. Good luck to you. I hope you feel really good about yourself hiding behind your pseudonym and computer. Well done, you must be a hell of a nice person. I wont even try and explain anything to you. You are not worth my time. Empty barrels make the most noise I am told.

Dear Craig,

I will happily address your post AND withdraw ANYTHING I have written which is factually incorrect. And apologise if I have quoted incorrect statistics. Just let me know what, if anything, is incorrect and I will gladly post the retraction and correction.

1.) I am not a trainer. Nor did I claim to be or wish to be. But that does not disqualify me from quoting statistics as long as they are not a fabrication.

2.) I do not use a pseudonym and never have in the 8 years that I have been on ABC. Like yourself I post under my real name and additional details can be sourced under the 'Who Are You' sticky if required. So please try and get YOUR facts correct.

3.) Interesting that you rather spoil what could have been a decent response by spewing vitriol. Why?

It wasn't intended to be a wind up but it sure seems to have elicited that response!

If it isn't worth your time then why bother to respond?

So I suppose I cannot send you a horse now? Lol.
