Rather bring back the 4th place pay out when
14 runners are carded irrespective of horses being scratched.

Please those in the know kindly forward this to Vee
I will not win Immediately but Definitely.

It is not viable on the tote because the favourite is guaranteed to pay R1, ie you get your money back. To make up for this promise, they have to take from the dividends on offer on less fancied horses, so if pay 4 places, it will be even less attractive to punters. Hope I read this right? Don't think they will change

What about 16 runners carded, 4 places irrespective of scratchings.

Hollywood works on this formula.

Elvis, 90% of bookies work on 14 or more is 4 placings as long as there is 14 horses carded with jockey's aboard irrespective of how many scratchings.

They should make the PA 4 places irrespective how many runners there are and come out with tripot 3 places. Make it easier for the punter to win. There turnover can only increase so they have nothing to loose. Problem racing is catered more for the big punter than the man in the street

betxchange often has 5 and six places and this often helps if you arenot confident of a 33/1 but think improvement is on the way
