R1 Maayaat could be the right one. If she fails then both Lucky H horses are in with a shout, both have decent WRs up. The less obvious one is probably Stay Amazed who was well beaten on debut. However, 3 of the field won nto and two were runners-up nto. 6/9 of those in front of her are now winners. Rested since and now has the blinkers on, could be the surprise package. Thorneywood Chase worth considering for places given that her recent c/d form is not the worst when taking into account issues at the starts, would have to be away well though. Lto over c/d she was only 0.5l adrift of Chocolate Eclair who is my probable e/w selection here. CE was returning from a 24 week rest that day and although well beaten lto the form of that run appears to be working out well. Leaving the fav out in the hope she is a de Kock one to flop on debut! and chancing... CHOCOLATE ECLAIR x STAY AMAZED x THORNEYWOOD CHASE

I Could be way off the mark here race 1 but I'm 99.99% sure Maayaat wins the first, likely to go off evens but and a BIG BUT this is racing and there are quite a few runners here whom have shown some improvement and would have needed their first few, secondly it's always risky backing these jocks - with all due respect to the jocks but many are still learning.
I could have egg all over my face here and will gladly accept so if I'm wrong. Good luck to all!!

Does MDK enter many good ones in work riders races?

A line through Lucky Mojo suggests there isn't much between her and Chocolate Éclair from her Yangtze Kiang run and GCs Tiger Flame run.
In fact CE is slightly ahead. They were both coming off a rest but what worries me is Gracey Cats last run where Emearg reversed the placings with Gracey Cat and the thing puts me off both is their closeness to Coral Key?

Market seems to be indicating that Stay Amazed is the preferred one from the Lucky H stable... though trusting the market these days can be very dangerous, one of the reasons I don't like MDK first timers, they all too often "seem" to be backed irrespective of whatever.
Bob, certainly has given the rider some winners but they used to have a very high win % ratio as a combo, been steadily on the decrease though I think.

Leon thanks for the input, however I'm almost certain chambers is Spies's stable jock by which he would get first preference. I'd go as far to say that most of his winners come for the Spies yard. One thing I've also noticed is that if Spies has one runner in a race more often then not Chambers will be honest while Fransie is getting other rides. I may be terribly wrong however I'd chance my luck on Chambers ride over Naude's ride. Of course I'm not saying atso can't win, or can't beat FS just my thoughts. Thanks again for the valid input, I'm in no way meaning to be disrespectful towards your advice. Good Luck
