Jayawardene given not out by 3rd umpire when it looked like he was caught cleanly on his first ball. Now 46 balls later he is 83 not out Sri Lanka look good to post at the very least 175 and at the most 190

149-1 with 3,5 overs to go...at the very least they should get 40...see the Mahela finally out...bowled by Jordan...

I cannot see England chasing total as 2 of Malinga's overs will be cheap and / or with wickets...so total to be chased down in effective 18 overs...looking like +-10 runs / over from the start to cater for 2 cheap overs...

Mostly disagree - for me Parnell bowls too many wides and no-balls and full tosses at the death and I will never have him in any team above Morkel or Tsotsobe, Hendricks has some potential, and at least deserves his place after his performances locally. Phangiso also had his chances, but in my opinion is not an international player.

What I mostly disagree with many on here though is Amla - check out his strike rate today - and you say he is too slow ::o I'd be quite happy to have him scoring at a run a ball, rotating the strike whilst guys like de Kock, AB etc try and smash it.

Also the coach, I'm not saying he is the greatest, but give the man a fair chance at least

our problem is our batsman are not confident enough to have a go in the 1st 6 overs.just play with freedom and have a go at smashing the bowlers because to me its evident that we cant depend on a morkel and d miller to score at a quick rate because they think its a 5day test match the way they playing.our biggest concern tho is ab who is losing his wicket too easy for low scores.hopefully he is saving his best for england and maybe the semis if we make it that far.

need sri lanka to beat england and new zealand and then we only have to beat england to advance to semis.

Didn't forsee that performance from England as I thought the total too much and when they were 0-2, I thought that the game was done and dusted...

But when I saw that they were 5/1 that early in the match, I took a small bet and it came home...it was a heart over head bet as an England win opens up the pool and drags SL back and SA on par (save for net run rate) after earlier loss to SL...if SL won they were likely through and other 3 teams fighting for one spot...now 4 teams fighting for two spots...

All depends on who shows up on the day. You can never tell in T20's.

That's why I think that 20/20 is a lotto. Winning the World Cup in the 50 over comp has far more prestige

In 20/20 you just need one batsmen to have a good knock and one bowler to perform with the ball. In the longer versions you need the team to perform.

That's why it's called a team game.
