listened to it again and i think we are being very critical here,all Wesley needed to say was "great win " but a shock result to most

I know a set of owners who had shares in Goat a few years back made the july field ran unplaced but just to have a runner was enough for them that was the dream that's what snottynosed kids like bowman will never understand !!!!!

Nothing shocking abtthis interview at all.
He didn't even look upset, he was just stating da facts.

Just watched it for the first time. Was a bit uncomfortable initially....but yup nothing 'shocking' ... Reminds me of when Shane McGregor started on air. The guy was vrry static and tense.... different ball game now with experience. Wesley will improve with time.
I reckon it is key that presenters DO NOT put words into the interviewed perdons mouths... try ask ...not tell.

Vicky Minott is by a long,long way the best young presenter on Tellytrack.
Firstly she knows the sport from first hand experience from race ;)riding and still has a comfortable relationship with trainers,jockeys and grooms.
She shows respect to her elders,which is sadly lacking thesedays but above all brings a refreshing personality and assurance to the role.

Agree watched it for the first time now, thanks Hibs, like Madji said was uncomfortable initially and I am sure he will improve in time and will learn from his mistakes. What I did like is that he asked the trainer and jockey about their other runners as well as Brandon about the track condition. (tu)

I guess with the standard of presenting on Tellycrap its normal for presenters to be worrying about the pick six and not the owner who has been paying an arm and a leg for this moment when his horse passes the post first as one posted said A LACK OF RESPECT !!!!!!!!
and the worst part is some don't see this as a PROBLEM !!!!!

i saw the replay now...and guys....i agree with scotia....there was nothing wrong with the interview....what was so wrong in saying...there goes my p6.....this is absolutely bullshit if we are gonna be so critical about that...and make a mountain of a mole hill...whatever he said in the interview,,..was said appropriately...i think what guys fail to reason...is not what is said.....but rather in the tone it is said in..... a simple word like HELLO....said in 2 different tones...can have 2 different connotations....when said in a soft sweet tone with a smile ..is pleasant...when said in a rough harsh tone with a stern face ...means something completely different...but having heard the interview...the title of this thread should be changed...because in my opinion...there is nothing SHOCKING about it...and is over sensationalised
