Interviewers are there to do a job, which is interviewing, elicit comment and fact for the benefit of their audience, not to criticize or humiliate.Who gives a F@@@ that he's out of his P6 or whatever. Any commentator that does should be summarily dismissed for unprofessional conduct and never be allowed near a microphone again.

Once again, must be that special training program that has been instituted by TT, "Interviewing for Dummies" or is it BY dummies.X(

NOT ON!:X

Glad I got that off my chest >:D<

I have lately also been a little aggravated by him saying horses don't look well ect what qualifications does he have to criticize some top trainers if u think a horse looks well say so don't make out like a trainer has not done his job I
Think he needs a bit of mentorship no doubt trying his best but up pests happen we all look for them to make money after the race just be a good sport.

His job is to present NOT to bring in his personal punting issues - Again a complete lack of professionalism - These people should watch News and Business channels to educate themselves on interviewing in an unbiased manner. Perhaps a year-long diploma in journalism should be the minimum requirement for presenters if common sense evades them.

I agree with Neigh - I found the interview strange to say the least.
When he got to Brandon Lerena his question was " I know you phoned for the ride but did you really think it had a chance"
Obviously he is guided by his belief and nothing else .... He was clearly sulking!

I agree with all above, it is not acceptable in a post race interview to bring in issues such as your own pick 6 problems, if I was the owner I would have complained today!!

Even if Via Africa wins a gr1 this oke will ask Duncan if she will go further, his famous last words is asking if horses will go further! He is obsessed with horses going further lol

As Ive said many times before, PE, Kimberly and Cape Town good presenters, especially Nadine, Allister Cohen and Gareth Pepper..I don't know why they don't use them in Jhb and Dbn!! Simple give them plus the ex jockette in Cape Town the contract for all racecourses in SA, they professionals

I am an easygoing guy, but I have never heard such bad interviewing and comparing. How many times before the race did he say something like, in such a weak field anything could win, in fact he said that at least 10 times in each pre race until the 4th race. Switched off after the 4th cause I was so irritated.

Was away yesterday. Is he the youngster who" is bringing in the younger people to support racing?Has syndicate horses { GavinVZyl?}"
From the posts he shows immaturity(certainly not arrogance if employed by TT:D)

Agree with neigh - who cares about the presenters pick 6 - should be about the winning connections
