At the moment we look pretty certain to race. Tuesday not looking good if the rain predicted arrives.

Morning Clanners i have a nice priced horse for you BIG BIRD is drawn well today over a mile, and he will have no problem with the extra furlong today. He loves the sting out of the ground, he is racing well, and most importantly he is racing fit having had 3 runs in November. I just think he had a few things going for him and looked a bit of each-way value at 16/1. PA 9,13 x 7 x 2,3,4,5,6,11 x 1,2,5,11 x 4,9 x 3,11 x 1,2,4,6,9 = R960 X1

I like a bit of Maynoona in Race 9. Won first time out in impressive style. She runned in a feature next time but obviously something went amiss and is the reason for the 253 day absence. Mike de Kock would have sorted out the problems and give her a run today. The only worry for me - Delpech not on it. He is onboard Melanchete who runned 4.85 lenghts behind progressing Dolomiti and the 1400 right in her alley.(Also come from a break)

We haven't seen the sun for days. Tuesday was the last day that we have had serious sunshine.
If they race without any issues, even I would be surprised.
Would just put the issue of a "goat" track to bed once and for all.
