by in large "correct" money only gets wagered 2-3 minutes before the off. Of course everyday horses shorten and sone win but in the UK the serious bets take place near the off. So for me monitoring horses shorten overnight (as some do) is a waste of time. Checking in the morning for shorterners is a waste of time YET many follow this and are catered for.

If I know my horse has a winning chance and nobody else is giving him a chance, id shut my mouth and bank the $$$. Why on earth would i want to advertise he can win and be satisfied with smaller odds?
i wont even put my money on the horse early. Id wait tilll just before the race starts so others cant follow my money.

Won't back it.

Play it on the Bookies ............. exacta , swinger etc.
Put both for 1st in trifecta and Quartets multiple times

:X and you would potentially cost the rest of us punters a small fortune. In these instances you are not winning bookies money, you are winning my money and the thousands of others like me... and like you, when someone else does the same thing. The only people who win are you and the bookies. Terrific. Especially for the sport overall. :S . It is imvho fundamentally the wrong approach. If your attitude is, its all about me me me, then so be it. I like to think if I owned I would take the early price whatever and tell the world back back back (but don't kill me if it loses lol!)

Had enough of all this type of debate now, just p1ssing me off lol

Oh... and I have decided that I shall no longer be doing my jottings as LD obviously thinks its all sh1t, thanks for saving me sooooooo much of my spare time mate (tu) (:P) lol
