I'm more than hopeful that we'll see some racing tomorrow but of course the going will be really heavy. What bothers me is that most horses will not be anywhere near the required fitness levels so there will be plenty of booby-trap runners in the field.

Anyone know which trainers would have been less affected by the rain? I've usually gone with the Steyn's and some of the lesser yards who is able to work there smaller strings.
The Milnerton training centre is a shambles due to the rain so none of the trainers out there have been able to work their horses I believe.

Time for the brave and the foolish to step forward and make some money??? :-)

I was thinking horses that have run recently would be less affected by the lack of current work .

Tim...the Bass stable really only fancies Intimate Connection ...this one's a mudlark but last ran 16 July.
Let's just say if you're like love laying the favourites or you're fancying the exotics and is willing to include some really rough runners tomorrow may be a really good time to do it.

Can't see me going for much more than 20 - 30% in the jackpot :-)

Cannot agree more with your last comment. Even the PA could be carried over tomorrow. We will now see big fields all over in CT as everyone wants to make up for lost ground

I see that Yogus has a couple running ,both fancied. They should be alright because I think Mrs P has an allweather gallops at her training centre.
R5 Gold Academy
R8 Blue Ocean

Mike Stewart gallops on the beach at Noordhoek as I recall.
