IntimateConnection should run well but I'm uneasy about this race so I've considered ALL of the following:
1 Gold Academy, 2 Augusta Natiional, 3 Lola Budd, 6 Dark Journey, 8 Madame Rooney 9 Money Surger and 11 Careful Hiker in my Jackpot selections along with the favourite.

I am getting somewhat despondent, just nothing going my way today, bad luck story after bad luck story after bad luck story...
had both Boniface and Pasadera to win in the 4th and had these now in the 5th...

Copa De La Rey looks to have scope for improvement . What a great 11 year old and in the conditions must have a big chance. Imagine in Rod and Julie were prsenting, "I can't see a 1 time winner giving weight to an 11 time winner". ()

Race 6 a really nice race to NOT get involved in, lol... Will be taking strong wins on both runners Matador In Red and Nordvic Warrior as they both 7/2 so return will be 5/2 if those two are the main competitors.

SILVER BLUFF

Man From Japan loves the conditions is in form and really looks value to me at 5/1 a win and 1/1 a place. A 100% (Less betting tax) return on your investment for a first 3 looks very good to me.
