Wont race!! Buckets of rain forecast, already pulling in over the Blaauwberg/Kllarney Gardens area!!!

I am in Tygervalley and it's getting darker by the minute....

The forecast for Port Elizabeth is also shocking with plenty rain predicted Thursday and Friday.

Hope the forecast you've looked at is wrong Harris as the two I've looked at say chance of rain Friday with the main downpour expected on Saturday

That'll be two racemeetings down the drain because we're racing on Wednesday rather than Tuesday...the moment any adjustment is made I'm sure the Cape weather will adjust too!!!

Saweather predicts 80mls over the next 5 days with 100% chance of 30mls tomorrow over Cape Town.

That implies 45mils on Kenilworth. . .no racing tomorrow

Spent a number of years in the Capetown area and played a lot of golf at Paarl G C.
Mid July to end August every year got to a point whereby you could not walk the course and noway could you drive a cart..It is not so much the volume of rain,which is a lot,but the fact that the rain already received in Apr-July cannot be absorbed anymore and therefore the ground cannot take any more.I doubt ,looking at the forecast they will race tomorrow or even Saturday.

Any updates on weather..........another stand alone in WC abandoned..........lets hope not!

I always get criticized when I'm negative about things but lets be honest as Chad always says! The effinng weather forecast is bloody useless ! Only weather forecasters and tipsters keep their jobs for continuously giving crap info? Of course it's just my opinion!
