Hi clan what you make of The Grand in the 4th???? I think this is a cracking ew bet.

Race One
This is a list of runners that have bettered my fancy in races down the straight.Only five of them are still maidens.Non of the other runners beat or went closer to these.The same cannot be said of a similar list drawn up for the rest.I have excluded one run which was in very soft going.

Although i am not convinced of a win but DREAMED A DREAM will place.There are concerns but apart from a few the form of the balance are truly exposed.
Home Guard, the sire of Nagoya,is my all time favourite horse but her sire stats are not impressive.Her trainer comes from a family that has deep roots in the game and his ability needs no bush.
Presently at 2.08 for a first four finish i am convinced her odds will be slashed.I am equally convinced that a tote place will be the correct bet as we might end up with three places.
Regarding the makeup of a possible double i feel her chances shouldnt be muddied with that of ones i havent studied.The shortlist for such a double are Royal Denise/Money Is Gold and Alexander.Apologies for being over the top but with racing enough is never enough.Happy punting and best of luck to punters of DREAMED A DREAM.

Anybody know why it's a 11 race card? Is it a first? Heard of 12 race meeting but not 11.
