Are we near the bottom yet?

Today at Clairwood the appalling state of the management of our racing was exposed:

a) a horse was declared "fit to run" after a serious incident in the stalls(previous history in these circumstances suggests that "fit to win" should be the measure....especially in the case of an odds on favourite)
b)a dog was allowed to race with the horses!
c)having failed to call a false start(which was clearly the correct call)the horses ran and the stipes/NHA are now releasing statements quoting rules which excuse the debacle............what they say is true .......but not the WHOLE truth...........they had the discretion to declare the race null and void but are failing to admit to this!
d) after the inevitable furore, they could not provide adequate security on their own premises to prevent an abandonment.

Can't they do anything right?

I complain regularly that failure to regulate and manage our industry is slowly leading to to its erosion ,and it is incidents like this that highlight where we have sunk to!
The NHA have recently revised the rules without a clue as to what they were doing as the shortcomings remain in abundence.....but the board is totally unqualified anyway.
Thos bunch of jokers honestly believe that they maintain the integrity of the industry......that is a joke.

Excuses that they could not guarantee the safety of horses and jockeys.

IT WAS THEIR OWN SECURITY THAT THEY COULD NOT GUARANTEE

Sadly not, until they face up to their own incompetence and abandon their old school structures they are going to go so much deeper! The sad truth is that where they are heading money won't buy them a free pass!

so i dont watch natal racing today i spend it with my family. soon the calls and the text are flying about this race and i cant make the opinion be cause i see nothing. well i just see the race and it is the absolute disgrace. a blind man can see that the gate on the favorite does not open the horse barge through over a second after the race is on the go. the jocks are all look back wait for the false start. the people who have money on the favorite are robbed their is no other way to look at this. the starter can declare a false start and he dont. why is this? is he a stupid? is he blind? is he drunk? how the stipes can not declare the false start is a disgrace and the lot of them should be ashamed for steal the money of punters. i never condone the violence but how can i blame the punters for do what they do today? a disgrace

Despite the punters being robbed did they not think the punters would cause a riot if the fav was not withdrawn besides the turnover they lost in the last 3 races. They deserve everything they get
