Is true Engles.
We have been stating it for months,I'm pissed off because I had Big City Angle at 6/1
But that's nothing compared to how punters must feel doing there hard earned on that debacle

Hi RAM from your posting it seems you had a bet on the winner , what the Clan is saying that the race should be Nul - Void.

irrespective even if the Jockey rode the horse out , Go back and see the start the gate did not open on 1.

Well done Hollywood. Also my 1st post, as something this bizzare would elicit numerous comment. Would the experienced followers please venture an opinion on whether the horse should have been cleared to run, by the vet, follwoing what looked like an extremely awkward incident in the pens.

The end result is the punters being furious and the Rule backfiring in the owners face as well ( at least the owners of races 7-9 )

Ironic that this rule was brought in to help the owner in getting stakes money (read the exact Ruling posted by me earlier) however due to this change of ruling the consequence is furious punters and subsequent abandoning of Races 7 - 9 meaning no stakes money for the owners of Race 7 - 9 but yet still they need to pay training fees, transport costs, etc

Quite obvious an injustice to all and quite racing will lose a few followers because of it.
