Oh look everyone knows what's best for Pierre Jourdan here. NHRA is situated at Turffontein Racecourse for you all to apply for your trainers licences... Do you know how much he eats everyday? What his problems are? Do you know how to sort them out? What the jockey said? No. So shut up and congratulate the winner and the charity that won. Keep your armchair training, for the Springboks or Liverpool - they need it more. Karma???? For who???

Pir:obeta: The "karma" comment = absolutely uncalled for. (not yours)
He was rebought for R1.6 million, not R3.5 million. Some posters speculating, others being just plain nasty.
Elvis is out of line, or has a personal vendetta. He seems to know a lot about "the stable"...

I agree about the karma crap...some people attribute all kinds of sh1t to all kinds of sh1t. I take it from whence it comes.

One of the problems with being an insider, is that you have to listen to speculation, knowing better but being unable to speak out....(you, not me:D)

Ruby sorry if feathers were ruffled but it's just that PJ is a talking horse and a champion and many of us armchairs don't like to see them go off , so to speak. No malice intended to the training staff.
Since u mention Golden Loom who I remember at the ripe old age of 8 yrs was going for a 3rd Computaform Sprint victory, your stable can be assured that many were rooting for PJ to resume winning ways after all he is a past winner of the RTR Cup.
There should be no reason why he stopped racing with age and best of luck to the stable.

Mike - there have been some very nasty, gloating private messages sent to me personally. There are some that are quite PLEASED that PJ is not performing.
Bottom line is: he prefers more ground. He ran on very strongly in his last start, and was unlucky not be closer, after being checked severely with 150m to go. There was nothing wrong with that run. Running from last each time does not work for him. He jumped on terms yesterday, but within the first 100m he was bumped hard, and had to check severely, putting him at the back of the field, once again. He prefers to win from being in touch with the leaders. So there you go. It is not "just another excuse from the stable", or karma. Karma generally being: "just what you deserve", from what I know. So what was Elvis saying? That the horse/ jockey/ trainer/ owners/ charity *deserve* to run badly??? He should NEVER have been favourite.
But the favourite past time of this site's members is: character assasignation. Neil Pretorius made one error during presenting, and not only is he a fool, but so is Ken Rutherford, Telly track and all of Phumelela. Someone else tried to muddy Martin Locke's name. Really??? Even Mike de Kock was castigated for a horse not running to some people's expectations. David Carstens - I bet nobody here has even met him, but hey they were all happy to call him an asshole. Yes an asshole, why? Because they don't rate him as a jockey? It happens on a daily basis.
It's like people sit and watch to see if anyone fails at something/ makes a mistake, and then takes extreme delight at pointing it out. And then the insult bandwagon is born. Makes me very angry. Would you have the balls to actually walk up to that person and say it to their face? Probably not. And clearly there are a whole herd of SAINTS posting here on this site.
P.S. Mujaarib won a very smart race yesterday. He just managed to hold Meissa off in his last start, and Meissas pulled up very jarred up from that race. But I guess Meissa is still soup meat hey?
