Did you also hear Gary say that PJ got taken out at the start.......

Let me float a flyer here.......

It seems like this horse keeps on getting taken out at the start or boxed or struck on the nose or, or, or......

Do you guys think that, because of what was said about PJ when he was 3 as being the "people's horse" and also with him being resold that he could be a "marked horse"?
For me it isn't possible to be THAT unlucky that you keep on being checked after the start, boxed in ect......

Perhaps people don't like the circumstances around this fella??

Valberg has a breathing problem, apparently he fell over a couple of months back and this caused Derek Davids injury.... I am not saying this info was hidden, i just didn't know about it....

The poorest memory will try and answer...

Nothing actually happened, but he says that Valberg has his problems alluding to his dropping his shoulder and Derrick Davids fall (difficulty in riding?). The distress that he suffers from...with his breathing, and just that he expected much better run.

pj needs to go down to the cape and run in races where the conditions suit him ..the queens plate and the met are perfect for him not handicaps like today and the summer cup where he has to give lumps of weight away as he isnt good enough to do that...he has hardly ever left tftein bar a few mths at sumerveld for winter

To be brutally realistic I think PJ now at 6 yrs is a shadow of the peoples horse we knew a few seasons ago and shows that in another era horses like Sentinal, William Penn , Golden Loom etc. were still performing well with age.

Perhaps it's time he migrated to Ricky Maingard at Champ de Mar?8-)

Tommy, PJ now passed his best, he was the peoples horse. but no more...... stable full of excuses the whole time.
GOOD HORSES that get taken out at start somehow manage to get back into the race if they good enough, for at least a place.

Derrick D WAS his right jock, hardly put a foot wrong, even the candy man was not great on him - the stable changed that.. Kharma is a bitch you know.
