Sorry to trouble the clanners, but i was hoping somebody would be able to help me out. Wanted to know if anybody knew of any boxes that at Greyville night racing that are open to the public ot buy tickets. Want to take the wife and a few friends down on probably the 6 November, but we always end up in the Durban View Room. It is great there but i prefer the smaller crowds of the box. Used to have a contact in the Canon box but they have since relinquished their box.

As per your e-mail to Gill Simpkins - Thank you for enquiring about hiring a Box at Greyville Racecourse for the 06th of November 2012.







The price to hire a Box is R600.00(which allows a maximum of 16 people into the Box) AND a Liquor deposit of R1500.00 is required so the Bar can be stocked as per your requirement(we will give you a list of all the Beverages and alcohol we have which you can tick of on the sheet and send back to us(or alternatively you can have a cash buy via the waiters) – Boxes are situated opposite the 200 metre mark.



The same applies for the North wing Suite except: Hire price is R1500.00 and Liquor Deposit is R3000.00(Suites take up to a maximum of 30 people). The North wing Suites are overlooking the winning post.

I suggest if you are definitely interested in hiring please do so ASAP as the Christmas season is coming up fast and a lot of people start booking and would not like you to be disappointed J.

Well not yet Titch, going to see if i can get 16 guys together. R600 is nothing to be honest to have the whole box to ourselves. Will cater it and run it myself?

I will just need to figure out how they work their bar system and go from there.
