Hey Guys, spoke to Deez. Seems a winner deal. R1,000 for the box that holds 30 people. Liquor deposit and then charged for what you drink. Food for your own account. Deez will also make an appearnace, give a little speech and chat to punters.

Looks like ill prob takethis option but move the date to the 27th Nov.

why dont we do an event like this where we get as many clanners to come on board and all meet up at greyville a box for some racing? we see who is keen and then vote which meeting we'd like to attend, and the date with the most votes obviously take preference?

I'll be keen to meet up with the clanners at greyville as well bush, why don't we try for the next day or night when one of us has a runner, our syndicate should be having two nice runners in the next few weeks

Im in. any date will be good for me, if we can give a week or so notice I can arrange a 16 seater to fetch and drop all that attend...I dont "pot" so we have a built in designated driver If we do a Saturday Night and anyone feels up to it we could also do a Sunday Morning Sumerveldt gallop/breakfast and touch base with Craig and others ..could be a fun weekend.

Guys, i am planning on running a box on the 30th November. I think the box holds 30, and by the end of next week i should have my confirmed numbers (probably 10-14). I will be charging a set price for entrance which will include food. There will be a cash bar, and if any proceeds are made the money will be donated to the Kloof SPCA. I havent worked out a price as yet, but you looking at about R100 per ticket.

Let me know how that suits guys and how many guys would be interested.
