I'm a Utd fan and have to give credit to Everton who were the better team.Utd have made the wrong purchases,as it is not up front where their problems lie.They've been brittle at the back for quite some time

I have said that for 3 seasons.
Also- time for the old man to move on. ( a good team will make a manager look good)
He is losing the plot. I dont care what anyone else says.
Last year we saw some strange team selections which cost us. Last night was another example.

United was ordinary last night. This is coming from a United supporter.

Manchester United have completed the signing of Alexander Buttner from Vitesse Arnhem for an undisclosed fee.

The Dutch left-back, 23, who came close to joining Southampton earlier this summer, has signed a five-year deal.

Buttner was picked in the Netherlands' provisional squad for Euro 2012 but was not selected for the tournament.

Analysis
Dutch football commentator Mark Van Rijswik speaking to BBC Radio 5 live: "When the news came through about Manchester United it was a very big surprise in the Netherlands that he would make that kind of move. He's decent but he's nowhere near someone like Patrice Evra, so no-one really understood it."

Lol u guys, United were playing with only 2 defenders(Vidic+Evra), You will see a completely solid back. Line when Smalling, Ferdinand, Jones and Evans are back from injury.
