I'm not sure about the July distance, but I think this filly could stay a bit further than a mile. In my opinion she was tops over a mile when her breathing capacity was severely impeded, so that just says we haven't gotten to the bottom of how good she is, or how far she can stay.

Past Master is a son of Jet Master won over 1200m then went on to win the Met
Me thinks Ebony Flyer a daughter of Jet Master may be able to do the same espacially now that her problems have been sorted out
Perhaps Jackson is just too strong a contender to win the July !

I believe she has met the boys in open company as a 3 YEAR OLD in the Queen's plate...and ran 3rd, with only about 40% capacity to breath.

No doubt in my mind she is a super freak, super freak, she's super freaky :D

Trippi would be so lucky ;)

Barry, IF she didn't have breathing problems would you have run her overseas?? (I'm presuming this is why she is going to stud)??

Yes, Greg.

She is the most talented horse we've ever owned, anywhere.

@ Barry Irwin

Garden Province will be her last race. Then she meets Mr.Trippi.

Barry knowing the paddock value of Ebony Flyer, one can only guess whether she is going to be competitive in this race or if to avoid breaking down etc.{ God forbid } she will be given a soft run?
We have seen this happen to Wolf Power in his last race before stud duties where he ran unplaced inexplicibily and recently it was Val de RA, so the racing public should tread warily?
