Thought Daniels rode a dreadful race, awful position from the 1 box and then kept him boxed in and tried for a gap that wasn't there and then ran on again. Not saying he would have won as the winner always looked to have it in control but even a place would have won me 150ish

took the 5/1 place on happy archer, ran a beaut of a race...cant wait for the connections to bring her back to greyville where she is best for the kzn season...i am putting myself out here, she WILL WIN a Grade 1 race over 1600m at greyville before the end of the season..Again!

Will be interesting to see how the handicapper sees the Empress Club race - line horse Hidden Beauty? Europa Point has really shown amazing improvement and must be one of out top rated fillies / mares now judged on last night's performance?

The jury still out on JJ imo - ran ok but really with all due respect would never have expected him to be beaten by Winking Jack

Unlucky pal,he was bad.
missed the start and then got squeezed coming into the straight.
Dont know much about Daniels,but hes only had 1 winner at Turf since 2008.

JJ has nothing to prove anymore, why not retire him?
