Well Bulsara did run a shorthead 2nd to Exhilaration as a 2yo in a Grade 1 at Clairwood Park. So he does have good Grade 1 form cos he ran 2nd to Pierre Jourdaan in the SA Classic as a 3yo and then 2nd to Apache in the Champions Cup as a 4yo old.

You are right I actually don't have a cooking clue, however I just get a bit irritated by certain horses, not people, who should do a bit better.

My next example will be a certain Wyatt West

Is he going to make it 13th time lucky tomorrow at turffontein race 3 tomorrow?

Brandhow, on this i can agree. I have lost my money on this one more than once. He seems to always find one to beat him. I wouldn't exactly say a struggling maiden.............but i would say is the bookies best friend

I hope he wins, especially with it being his 13th race, which must be an oddly good omen for him.

Well spare a thought for the maiden runner Cheerful News who once had a merit rating of 92 who had since dropped down to an 80 when raced in South Africa. Ran two fifth's in a grade 2 & 3. It did win 1 race in Mauritius.
