I thought the same thing when watching live but when I saw the replay it was obvious that Mag was not going to win no matter what Superman did. The horse ran out of puff and there was no need for Superman to punish the horse for that.

Al you right watched the replays on Ra website and Bay route was not gonna get beat .

Marcus assisted all the way but maybe he just got a bit tired 20m before the line . If he carried on vigorously Bay route still wins . At one point he did go past but only for a few shortlived strides .

In the end a very fair ride by Marcus and definitely not the worst ride of the month far from it .

A Marcus = punters friend still .

Greg, I thought your new years resolution was no more P6's.....You have more than one? ;)

I try not to punish myself by making up new years resolutions. It works better this way, less issues WHEN I fail ;)

Okay, so we'll forgive Anton on that one, easy for me to say seeing I backed Bay Route:D But what did you make of his ride on Tennessee Strategy, I really thought that was a good thing, yet it came in third. Jockey to blame or horse to blame, or the conditions maybe....
