@blueyonder

If you watched the Monday Night CT show(G Knowles hosts),DK was featured amongst other trainers,and reading between lines i thought he sounded more confident about Liancourt Rock.
GMTGL & L R swingers,exacta.

Was also great watching Ebony Flyer playing on beach.Hope she gets serious tomorrow.

The Guinees has been made easier than normal for the Cape.....The movement restrictions I guess.
I am sure the filly is a true star but I think the 3 yr old c&g's that star later in the Natal season,probably aren't in this field
I would not have thought that our 2 Gauteng raiders are the best 3 yr olds in their respective stables?
Lots of questions will be answered ,as usual....how good the filly is(relative the boys).....whether Divine Jet can step up to this level(He certainly could cos he could be anything,but this is definitely a new level) How good Variety Club and Gimme the Green Light are?
Will a couple of Selangor "also rans" who had big reputations suddenly blossom.
Jhb raiders generally don't give there very best when raiding,so we will have to see!
A more interesting spectacle than a betting race for me.....really looking forward to it.

Just a quick question from my side?

Why would the bookies price up a horse that won a MR80 running against MULTIPLE Feature winners at the same price???

Are the bookmakers trying to buy money from DJ or are they just offering incredible value when it wins?

Either way, my money is on DJ, I hoped it would have been around 5/1 or more and it would be of higher value but clearly I cannot complain, sure he has a mountain to climb with respect to all the champions he faces but I am sure he is something special

All the best guys!

horses that win cape guineas are champions.history proves that.watever wins this guineas will dominate the natal season.there are no more top jhb boys with all due respect.woogruff who was there champion trainer many times cant even enter horses for met and july anymore.clearly the best horses are in the cape because thats where the buying power is at the moment.just look at the winning trainers of the met and july for last 10-15yrs and then u will understand wat im saying.the only trainer who can compete with the cape boys is mdk the rest are also rans imo.

The race will tell blue ,as much as divine jet is touted a champion just like azzie bragged about potala palace imo i think divene jet will have to up his game to beat proven graded race contenders,may the best horse win

My choice Liancourt Rock,the longer run in of the new course will be better suited to the old course run in,pity i cnt watch any racing ,but will catch the replays

Morning all! I'm also into DIVINE JET
If he wins he's a STAR
If he lose he's a DISASTAR
Racing right now really need a standout 3yr old male {lets hope he is the one}
If not,i'll settle for VARIETY CLUB
