I am a huge fan of the Princess. She would not be in the race if they did not think that she could win.I watched her race at Greyville on July day and she played with the field. Fortune was smoking cigars on her 300 meters from home.

I really hope that she proves me right today. A good horse is a good horse regardless of sex, just ask Igugu. They are gifting PV with 4,5KG's for being female, what a pleasure.

2.5 kg's only - will it be enough - everybody's guessing - I'm going with the proven class - GIMMETHEGREENLIGHT (tu)

Oops 2.5Kg - I have also followed Givemethegreenlight and have to agree with the proven class comment. Cost me a few multiples and the July P6 in the past and I have now gone off this one.

I will have to stick to my guns on PV though. I am either smiling or crying after the race. My Turfontein P6 is running PV as a banker.

I don't know if this has been asked before but why is Taipan not running these features? Is his aim the Derby and trying to stay away from top horses until then?

funny how people always try to find something that will beat the favourite ... there's always a reason why it can't possibly win ... I watched it happen with Igugu in the July and it's been the same story in about a dozen other big races.

Princess Victoria though may really have a job to win if the going is still soft after Wednesday's rain. Anyone know what going is like today?
