Greg, I wish our lot at TT would show more interest in the horses, their form, their connections, their stories ... even Singapore and Hong Kong spend the bulk of the between-race time talking up the form and draws and chances and quirkiness of the horses in the upcoming race (if leaving some out inexplicably). What do we get in between races, apart from the interviews? 15-20 minutes of betting stuff we can read for ourselves.
I am sick to death of this endless reading out of odds and payouts and will-pays as if TT thought SA punters can't read. It's BORING, guys, it's BORING ... in case you can't read, let me say it again ... it's BORING!!

Mav TT as they have said many times before is a betting channel only..ie they will never spend time on a race to give info let alone their own info..reading off the free tabonline report is ridiculous. They say that they lucky to actually have channel 232 as multichoice get more people watching BBC Food channel.
I dont agree with the whole situation but I do understand it..also I am sure the wages they earn do not equate to the work they would have to put in pulling up previous races going through form etc
As far as racing is concerned I do think there will be changes on the quarantine protocols which should open up the market to the world however the present situation is not good..including Tellytrack..although in my opinion Tellytrack is just a symptom of an underlying problem
