SO YOU THINK,who will wear blinkers in the Breeders' Cup Classic, has been drawn in stall five for Saturday's highlight at Churchill Downs.

The Aidan O'Brien-trained five-year-old's main rivals are likely to be Uncle Mo (drawn 12) and Havre De Grace (ten).

Brigantin's form got a boost when Dunaden won the Melbourne Cup. Brigantin beat him in a Longchamp Group 2 in May.

Some news and stories from the net...

(I got a pdf for the Classic race but its 2 meg and too big to attach..)

Prayer For Relief is scratched from the Classic.

Uncle Mo - 33/10 - has a rare liver disease. One source says his Kelso victory was sparkling but the racecard says gruelling. ??. Has yet to run a mile and a quarter.

Havre de Grace - 9/2 - attempting to become the 3rd consecutive female for Horse Of The Year. Has beaten the boys in the Woodward and has beaten Flat Out.

So You Think - 11/2 - making his dirt debut. Scotia says will be wearing blinkers (I assume for the first time?).

Flat Out - 10/1 - 80 year old trainer has yet to win a graded stakes race, but hey, so what..

Think if So you Think takes to the dirt it is race over....imo.

Barry I like your second string in the Juvenile Turf, only concern is that he is small. Not a race you really want to get jostled around in. Churchill is pretty tight too.

anyway at 12/14-1 I will be having an E/W nibble for sure!!

All the best!

Classic

Prayer For Relief is scratched from the Classic.

Uncle Mo - 33/10 - has a rare liver disease. One source says his Kelso victory was sparkling but the racecard says gruelling. ??. In his last start he earned the highest Beyer Speed Figure of 118 over a mile and more, higher than any other horse this year.

Has worn the cups in Aus

Flat Out - 10/1 - 80 year old trainer has yet to win a graded stakes race, but hey, so what.. Correction - 70 year old trainer never saw a graded stakes win until Flat Out came along.

Breeders' Cup Mile

Goldikova - 2/1 - becomes the first horse to win 4 breeders' cups

Like the Goldikova/ So you Think Double. The draw has killed off any chance of Strong Suit beating the wonder mare.

Always great racing remember that ESPN normally cover it all, so you don't end up pulling out your hair with the tellytrack coverage.

I see the last 5 races (Sat) will be beamed on the main ESPN channel. Hope this also means the South African ESPN channel.

Chantal Sutherland is not only the jockette for Game On Dude in the Classic but she is also a model and TV personality. She has been dubbed "Queen Of The Longshots", has ridden five winners on a card, rode future Kentucky Derby winner Mine That Bird, was the most outstanding apprentice jockey in 2001 and was a finalist for the most outstanding jockey of the year in Canada 2009. She was recently paired off with her ex, jockey Mike Smith, in a match race coined as the "battle of the exes".

She was chosen as one of People's "100 Most Beautiful People" and is now the face of a product line in a cosmetic company. Attached are some pictures of Chantal.
