Speed Ratings for main contenders with previous Vaal Sand form –
1…Roll Call 82
2…Grey Poet 82, Sithela 80, Victory Spirit 77, Baker’s Dozen 75
3…Danzig’s Odds 80, Rover T 79, Burj Dubai 77, Handsome Hudson 76
4…Causeway 100, Pimp my Ride 92, Dallas Dancer 88, Done Right 87
5…Jack Rock 84, Roman Warrior 80, Mountbatten 80, Secret Flag 79
6…Mannequin 110, Swan Neck 106, Mina Salaam 106, Candy Cotton 105
7…Bouquet-Garni 122, Storm Crossing 118, Secret Life 116, Iron Curtain 105
8…Nazran 101, Bambelela 101, Moon Dragon 100, Marching Band 98
9…The White Horse 110, Star of Destiny 99, Draw Bridge 98, Typicalman 97
10..Spanish Angel 99, Lovely Sash 90, Bella Mia 85, Ashjaan 83
A cautionary note with the speed rating figures!
Horses with a single ‘high figure’ (either from a one-off sand run, or out of alignment with their other sand runs) rarely reproduce that figure next time out. Today this applies to Bouquet-Garni and Spanish Angel.
To a lesser extent, and not as clear, Causeway and The White Horse, as they also have improved recent turf form.

How is Nazran a cert? On their last meeting Marching Band's got him stone cold, although Bambelela is the horse that I actually like most in that race. Still. I'd put all three in the Pick 6, and maybe even Moon Dragon for a roughie.
Worood looks the part, but I'd add Swan Neck as well. Causeway and The White Horse would be my bankers, with The White Horse the nap of the day.
