Phumelela release race meeting a day early!

PHUMELELA MEDIA RELEASE
SUBJECT: Turffontein meeting on 29 May now a day earlier

The race meeting scheduled for Turffontein on 29 May will now take place a day earlier on Saturday 28 May.
The meeting is now on the same day as the Golden Horse Casino raceday at Scottsville, which features four Grade 1 sprints. The Listed Syringa Handicap will be the topliner at the Turffontein meeting, which will take place on the inside track.
The Kenilworth race meeting programmed for Sunday 29 May remains as scheduled and will be headlined by the Grade 3 Winter Classic.

Why? ....

Interesting - without being supplied with a reason, I suppose it gives us the opportunity to speculate - could it be that Cape racing and P are about to become 'stable mates'?

Possibly dont want their meeting on the same day as the Comrades marathon. Many people dont punt that day while watching
the race and their friends running..

Plus we can also bet on the Comrades
