Great race, Snowdon a nice lurker, but I fancy Kavanagh and Galilieo's Destiny to fight it out...Shea shea to finish fourth, with the Plunderer a close up fifth...

For what it's worth, I think the stand side track will be in his favor, Kavanagh has proved vulnerable over 1600 before (the blinkers may make the difference though) and Link Man, although winning a nice race over 1450 last time, also needs to show that he can go a tough 1600. Galileo's Destiny now meets Perana at level weights, and should be held imo - and none of the others are in this class over 1600 imo - as always, the race will show who guessed right and who guessed wrong:S

Race of the season hibby? I don't see anything special in this lot.

Just can't get excited about the joburg horses, they consistently get beaten out of site when taking on the cape horses..
