TOTE PRICES CHANGE AFTER THE RACE!!!!:X

I can't believe my eyes! I just betted on "Grudge" for a win at Wolves. My tote screen said race closed with R4.90 for a win. My horse wins. The race is over. Then my screen changes to 0 minutes to racetime for a second or two and then back to "race closed" with a new win price of R3.00 and R1.10 for a place. Someone is piling money on after the race. I have seen this kind of thing happen at least 3 times! Please post on this thread if you have had a similar experience. The tote needs to be investigated!

Perhaps you could post the replies here? You have the right as a punter to query dividends if you believe there is an error or that the "perception of error" is destroying your trust/love of racing.

I know what I saw, and as a punter I felt robbed. It's much easier just to bet elsewhere instead of take this up with the tote, and so I will only use my tote account on large carry over exotics pools from now on, and I suggest any readers do the same to avoid dissapointment. I just can't trust the tote anymore.

The UK pools are shite aswell,two bob changes a price,bet with the bookies..

I posted a similar message a few weeks ago.

Somebody is definitely manipulating the tote. I have seen the tote go from RACE CLOSED to 0 MIN TO RACE (yes, after the race has run and after the co-mingling has taken place). Its occurring regularly with the uk meetings.

All due respect to you Steve but all of the above people know about these irregularities on tote payouts . All turn a blind eye to this because all we can do is bitch and moan yet some will still continue to use the tote . I have stopped using the tote totally and I am a happy punter . Until everyone starts doing the same so that Phumelela can feel the pinch FUCKALL will be done about this .

Hi punter, I have not used my telebet account for months - could almost be a year - this account I've had for I think 20 + years!!!! (and as a result my daily punting has moved onto perhaps once a month) This is why we need a Punters' Association to sort things like this out- I have no doubt at all that in the very near future this Association will be formed and will have the power under the Consumer Protection Act (I hope I'm correct ) to sort this nonsense out. We do not have to tolerate being treated like idiots

what about the competion commission (i think thats what its called)???... dont they look into price-fixing & unfair business practice etc??
