Pirates,
I think we should compare apples with apples here. Kavanagh beat other 3 year olds at favourable weight terms.
This horse was approx. 6.5kg's under sufferance. 3 year olds have not been faring well AT ALL against older horses as they are under the kosh taking WFA into account.
I'm not lumbering on 1 time winners.....I am however lumbering on a 1 time winning 3 YEAR OLD against older horses with the conditions of the race not suiting him at all.
Couple that with the fact that the horse almost dropped his jock on the way to the start and then again at the 500m marker.......Put all of that together and I think you can understand why a person would scratch their heads in utter disbelief.
..................Let's not even mention the fact that the horse was fancied and was backed off the boards?
Anyway I don't know much about horse racing.............thats my chop!

Youre missing my point pal, no problems.
I'll stick with my story and you stick with yours.
Good luck to the connections. He must obviously be good!
