Enable is now the favourite as the going is forecast to be very soft. ( As the Americans are obsessed with time so too are the Europeans with the going).

Watching the racing from Chantilly yesterday(40 km from Paris) the horses were churning it up and battling .
Heavy rain forecasted between now and Saturday.
Perhaps Serpentine would be the appropriate selection and weight may come in to the picture to favour Love.
Persian King intrigues me as I am not sure he has run over the mile and a half. However
there is no more shrewd trainer than Andre Fabre.

Racing Post
What is the Arc and why it is so important?
The Arc is one of the biggest and most prestigious global races with a rich history dating back to Comrade's inaugural win in 1920.
It is an exacting test for the cream of the middle-distance crop in Europe, while the race has also become a holy grail for Japan, though the prize has to date eluded the racing-mad nation. As well as pitting the top three-year-olds of the season against each other, the Arc is open to older horses, which makes a fascinating clash of generations.
Given its importance and prestige, winning the Arc is not only a huge achievement in sporting, but also from a breeding perspective for prospective stallions and mares.
Who is running in the 2020 Arc?
This year the race centres around Enable's bid for an unprecedented third Arc. The John Gosden-trained mare captured the race in 2017 and 2018, before finding only Waldgeist too good when attempting to make history last year.
Her main opponent in this year's betting is Love. Trained by Aidan O'Brien, Love is unbeaten in three starts this season, winning the 1,000 Guineas, Oaks and Yorkshire Oaks.
Superstar stayer Stradivarius, Aidan O'Brien's Grand Prix de Paris winner Mogul, last year's Arc third Sottsass and talented filly Raabihah are other leading fancies behind the big two for this year's race.

BATTAASH also runs on the day.
Jim Crowley will have the chance to win a second Prix de l'Abbaye aboard hot favourite Battaash, as the jockey can now travel to Longchamp on Sunday without the need to quarantine upon his return.

Love will not run in Sunday's Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe at Longchamp after the Aidan O'Brien-trained filly did not feature among 15 declarations for the race.
Love had been the longtime ante-post favourite entering Arc week but was usurped as market leader by Enable on Monday following 19mm of rain at Longchamp last weekend and with an unsettled forecast between then and Sunday's race.
