Its the Grand National meeting from Aintree this weekend.

3 days of top class racing

day one

first race:
should go to Grey Dawning where the Hollywood horse II Etait Temps will certainly make a race of it.

second race :
Sir Gino if fit and well, should be hard to beat.

race three:
this is a very exciting race the star Shishkin is taken to beat Gerri Colombe and Corbettโ€™s Cross.

Race four :
this is a match race between Impaire Et Passรฉ and Bob Olinger.

race five :
very open and take as many as possible in exotics

race six:
same comment as race five

race seven:
can also produce a big result but Mullins is the master of the Bumper so Baby Kate is the selection but add Honky Tonk Highway.

Aintree is finally here
Race 1 : IL etait temps was staying on well at Cheltenham and should give hollywood a winner in the 1st
Race 2: Kargese should be too good for Sir Gino but it will be a cracker
Race 3 : Now this is a cracker , I will side with Shishkin ( racing fresh ) but Gerri Colombe will go down fighting

Think I have found some value in the 6th , Guy 20/1 won a great race at Hereford and the form has been franked  , could go well here at a decent price

I believe the ground is heavy at Aintree, with persistent showers.
Lot of very good jump horses on show.
Normally I steer clear of Cheltenham runners, particularlry those who had hard races.
However my eye keeps coming to R 2 KARGESSE who has a 7lb pull at the weights..
R 4 IMPAIR ET PASSE skipped Cheltenham and is an improver.
I note Gosden has sent R 5  SO LOGICAL to Chelmsford and after 2 runs should be ready.
William Buick has gone over to Keeneland to ride one of my  favourite horses,MASTER OF THE SEAS in R 9 on Friday.
Classy horse who seems to be based to race in US now.
